SUPER HEAVY LOGISTIC TRANSPORT FOR THE MOON AND MARS
The Commander is a spider-inspired, solar-powered superheavy transport vehicle concept for NASA's Moon and Mars missions. It can autonomously load, carry, and unload containers of up to 100,000 kg and lift them as high as 10 meters. Its foldable legs with 6 degrees of freedom allow compact interplanetary delivery and stable movement on slopes of up to 20 degrees. Side clamps and front and rear stoppers keep the cargo secure during transport.
