Its shape is inspired by a spider, with legs designed to convey strength, agility, flexibility, and tenacity. It draws power from solar panels, which drive its clamping mechanisms and electric motors. The design accounts for stability, the terrain of the Moon and Mars, safety, and passenger comfort. Its key feature is the ability to autonomously load and unload containers weighing up to 100,000 kg each and lift them as high as 10 meters above the surface. The legs have 6 degrees of freedom, fold into a compact form for interplanetary delivery, and extend during loading and unloading. They are also built to handle slopes of up to 20 degrees.
